Randy Pausch, the former CMU professor, is a man which everone on earth should look up to. After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer he was asked to give a speech which many college professors before him had given entitled "The Last Lecture". However, most professors talk about dying in these lectures, Mr. Pausch talked about living, because he was given only months to live. This speech spread quickly and created an internet sensation. In the talk, the 48 year old father of three spoke about how to fulfill your childhood dreams. He was named by Time Magazine as one of the World's Top-100 Most Influential People and was the creator of the Alice software project.
Professor Randy Pausch passed away on July 25th, 2008 but his legacy will live on. He is an inspiration to us all. Rest in peace Professor Pausch.
